New finishes on the interior side of the gabled roof conceal building systems and help reinforce an uplifiting feeling for worshippers. Spillman Farmer played an integral role in the incorporation of many traditional items from the other churches, such as stone statues and stained glass, to give congregants a familiar worship place. The stained glass was installed to resemble how they looked in their original locations. Because the walls of the renovated space are interior, the stained glass was back lit with LED lighting to make them glow. We visited with craftsmen from the Baut Studios to review how the staind glass would be encased and lit from behind.
