This 63,000-square-foot building includes a 25,000-square-foot arena with four basketball courts that can also be used for tennis, indoor soccer, or volleyball. Overlooking this area is a 200-meter suspended track. Also within the center is a fitness center with cardio machines, weight circuit machines, free weights and stretching and strengthening areas. Additional features including a wood-floored fitness studio that can be partitioned to accommodate activities ranging from aerobics to dance or martial arts, and two regulation-size racquetball courts.

To meet the needs of today’s students, the building was designed to provide variety and opportunity. Instead of just a large court gymnasium used primarily for basketball, there are spaces that accommodate a wide variety of recreational and fitness activities, from cardio training areas full of the latest equipment like treadmills and ellipticals to flexible studios that accommodate everything from yoga to spinning classes.
